Neural Network Composability
Neural Network
Composability
A talk on the composability of neural networks and the development of a state of the art sketch to image model.
19.00 - 22.00
Wednesday 24th of April
Lijnbaansgracht 297H
UNI_VERSE STUDIO
On Wednesday the 24th of April we are hosting a talk by Jan Zuiderveld and Bohdan Kuzmich.
About Jan and Bohdan:
Jan Zuiderveld, a researcher, artist, and technologist, possesses academic expertise in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Neuropsychology, Artificial Intelligence, and ArtScience. Specializing in speech-to-intent systems and generative AI, he also delves into the intersection of technology and life through art, breathing vitality into inanimate objects.
Bohdan Kuzmich is a creative engineer and multimedia designer from Ukraine. He has experience in graphic design, motion, coding, and web development, and is currently dedicated to crafting tailored tools and interactive web experiences. Notably, Bohdan has contributed to impactful Ukrainian government projects like DIIIA.CITY and the global educational initiative, MRIIA.
Talk details:
In this presentation, Jan will discuss the modular nature of (artificial) neural networks, highlighting their versatility beyond their original purposes. Using a case study, he will illustrate how he developed a sketch-to-image model by integrating pre-trained models not originally intended for this specific application. Bohdan will engage in an enlightening discussion concerning the multifaceted realm of AI tools, elucidating their diverse functionalities, interactive capabilities, and their significant impact on various domains.
We are looking forward to seeing you in the studio for conversations & drinks from 18:45!
