On Saturday the 7th of October, we’re hosting an introductory workshop with Diane Wallinger on the 3D fashion design software CLO.

CLO is a 3D fashion design software program creating virtual, true-to life garment visualization with cutting-edge simulation technologies for the fashion industry.

Diane Wallinger is a Swiss fashion designer and the leading force behind her eponymous studio DNWLLNGR.

Driven by her passion for creating positive change, Diane is a staunch advocate of what she calls "Positive Fashion" - a practice that sees creativity as a lever for the well-being of both people and the environment. Her journey began over a decade ago when she embarked on a fashion design degree in the picturesque Swiss landscapes. She then moved to the vibrant fashion hub of London to complete a BA in Fashion Communication at the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design.

Fuelled by her interest in sustainability, Diane continued her education with an MA in Fashion Futures at the esteemed London College of Fashion. Here, she delved into the intersection of well-being and sustainability, culminating in a mesmerizing master's project that seamlessly blended physical and digital elements.

Taking her expertise to the next level, Diane joined The Fabricant, a leading digital fashion house, where she worked on exciting projects for prominent brands and entities. Her creative ability and colours and textures understanding also shone through in-house collections, including the recently released Kappers collection.

Today, as a freelance fashion designer, Diane continues to push boundaries and embark on innovative digital fashion design ventures. Her unwavering commitment to Positive Fashion guides her every move, as she brings her unique vision to life and inspires others to embrace a more sustainable future.

She will be guiding you through the basics of CLO, the software that has gotten her where she is now.

If you do not have a workstation that you can bring, we have a limited number of stations we can lend and will be choosing participants based on this as well.
